Ffos Ddu Self Catering cottages are set in the heart of rural Carmarthenshire on the edge of the Brecon Beacons Nation Park yet conveniently located to the A40 and M4 motorway,and only 4 miles from the market town of Llandeilo with all facilities (2 supermarkets, restaurants, pubs,post office, bakers, butchers and some lovely shops for treating yourself or just browsing)
The cottages are located at Ffos Ddu farm a 28 acre smallholding of woodland ( with bluebells in the spring), meadows, lake and rivers for you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. " A peace of heaven" The wildlife includes deer,otter,rabbits and a large number of different birds from swallows,swifts and house martins in the summer, Canada geese in the spring , the red kite can often be seen flying over head all year round.
The location of Ffos Ddu makes it an ideal base for walking, cycling (on and off road) at Brecfa and Crychan forests or there are some wonderful scenic drives.

Ffos Ddu has two comfortable cottages available for weekly or short break rental, Beudy Mawr is a very spacious one bedroom cottage sleeping two but with the option of sleeping up to four, Beudy Bach is a spacious studio that sleeps two, but has room for a single bed or cot so can sleep three. Both cottages have 4star ratings from Visit Wales Tourist Board and have the recommemdation for walkers and cyclists. Each cottages has its own patio with tables and chairs enjoying extensive westerly views over the surrounding countryside, there is a Boule pitch for your enjoyment.
Your hosts Andrew and Lynda Webb and their spaniel Floss,'who will willing give her guests a guided walk of the farm, showing them the lake and woodland' extend a very warm welcome to you.
